Mormon leaders have taught that these “lost” books are a result of a Great Apostasy, when many “plain and precious things” that were once part of the Bible are no longer there.
LDS members are required to put their trust in the Church leaders and their decision not to disclose the Church’s finances.
Mormons believe that individuals who have died can hear and receive the gospel of Jesus Christ in the spirit world. And through proxy baptism performed for them in an LDS temple, they can attain eternal life in the presence of God.

The fact that our current Bibles are reliable and accurate come from many other sources, such as archaeology, fulfilled prophecies, the Dead Sea scrolls, and other historical evidence.
For many people, the belief that the Bible contains contradictions and inaccuracies is an excuse for not believing. Many such people have not actually read the Bible for themselves. After a little research, all the alleged contradictions and inaccuracies are totally explainable.
All of this Mother in Heaven and Queen of Heaven talk is just another means to get people to take their eyes off the One True and Living God.
Joseph Smith never taught about a “Mother in Heaven.” But Subsequent Church leaders have affirmed the existence of a Mother in Heaven.
Latter-day Saints believe the, human race lived in a premortal existence with Heavenly Parents and that all people are begotten spirit children of God.
